True Rx Health Strategists unveils new brand, commitment for additional national growth with new 15,000 sq. ft. facility in city of Washington, Indiana.

WASHINGTON (Indiana) – “A great day for True Rx and the city of Washington” is how executives of True Rx Health Strategists described the formal launch of construction for their new 15,000 sq. ft. facility here on Dec 4. True Rx, a national pharmacy benefit management (PBM) company, also unveiled its new corporate brand, which will be featured on the new $1.8 million facility on the east side of Washington near I-69, said Mark Williams, CEO.  The new facility will help the company, which serves patients and employers in all 50 states, reach a goal of 90 new jobs by 2023.

“I join Gov. Eric Holcomb and our great team at the Indiana Economic Development Corporation in congratulating Mark and CC Williams and the entire True Rx team in creating this important opportunity for the people of Washington, Daviess County and the state of Indiana,” said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch, who took part in the Dec. 4 True Rx event.  “We look forward to future success for this innovative Indiana-based national company.”

“We deeply appreciate all who helped make this possible here in Washington and the state of Indiana,” said Williams, who founded True Rx Management Services together with his brother CC Williams. “We have a great team of qualified professionals who have grown right along with True Rx as we have expanded our national market, and we anticipate even greater success in our new facility.”

Mark and CC Williams also own and operate Williams Brothers Health Care Pharmacy employing more than 500 people.  New brand elements for True Rx, including a completely redesigned and updated website, will appear in the near future.

“The city of Washington is fortunate to have a national company of the caliber of True Rx Health Strategists,” said Washington Mayor David Rhoads. “True Rx has already established an impressive national network of more than 65,000 participating pharmacies, and we look forward to further supporting their expansion here in Washington.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered True Rx up to $650,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans and up to $150,000 in conditional tax credits from the Hoosier Business Investment (HBI) tax credit program based on the company’s planned capital investment in Indiana. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives.

The new facility will be 15,000 sq. ft., with a physical expansion capacity up to 30,000 sq. ft.

The Washington City Council approved a tax abatement for the new facility, which will be located near the I-69 and U.S. 50/150 interchange east of Washington.

“We count True Rx Health Strategists as a strong partner for continued diversified economic and community growth in Daviess County and beyond,” said Bryant Niehoff, executive director of the Daviess County Economic Development Corporation. “Their dynamic presence near the I-69 exchange bodes well for overall economic expansion in the region.”
