Workforce Training / Certification Program
The Daviess County Economic Development Corporation has developed a community wide training plan, and a community wide certification program. This program has been driven by the employers of Daviess County, developed by Rick Streepy, of Workforce Development Concepts. Wages range from $5.15 per hour to $21.50 per hour. The number of available trained workforce is approximately 8,725 which is pooled from the surrounding counties of Pike, Greene, Knox, Martin and Dubois.
