THE BRAIN GAIN

The Daviess County Economic Development Foundation would like to express appreciation to all young Daviess County citizens who, upon receiving a college or vocational education, have chosen to return to their hometown to work and live.

It is certainly important for our young people to know that returning home after completing their education, utilizing their knowledge, energy and skills helps the community grow and prosper. Educated young working age men and women are priceless assets to any society.

As a business leader you probably will plan for your business’s future. We think you agree it is very important having a younger generation positioned to take over. It is also necessary for the young men and women to have a friendly economic climate in which to function and possibly to open a new business.  We want to focus attention on the achievements of these returning residents and show a Daviess County “thank you”.
